An antiques expert who regularly appears on UK TV screens will be sharing his experiences of featuring in some of the most popular antiques shows, with millions of viewers. Thomas Plant will be giving a talk to an audience at the Jury’s Inn hotel and the proceeds will be donated to charity.
The event will be held in Swindon this weekend on 11th January, where Thomas will spend time, along with his team, giving appraisals of antiques and collectibles. Members of the public are invited to take along their hidden treasure so that they may learn a little of the item’s history and value. Thomas Plant is an antiques expert who has made regular appearances on TV shows, including Flog It!, Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip. His speciality is in the history of toys, militaria and jewellery.
At 2pm the same day, Thomas will host a talk for an audience at the Jury’s Inn, providing information and tales of life as an antiques expert on TV shows, which are watched by millions of people on a regular basis. The proceeds from the talk will be donated to Prospect Hospice. The area manager of Jury’s Inn, Peter Rudge said that he was happy to be supporting Thomas in his efforts to raise money for the local charity.
