The London International Antique Doll, Teddy Bear and Toy Fair will be heading to London’s Olympia next year, celebrating childhood toys over the last 200 years.
It has been 15 years since an event of this magnitude has been completely devoted to the exhibition of antique toys. The exhibition will feature a number of experts and dealers, in addition to talks throughout the event, as well as the chance for collectors to buy rare toys. The event, which will last for just one day, will be officially opened by an expert in antique soft toys, dolls and doll houses, Bunny Campione.
Collectors and antiques dealers are expected to arrive from destinations all around the world. The organisers, Hilary Pauley and Daniel Agnew, stated that the location of the exhibition, Pillar Hall in London’s Olympia, is ideal for international visitors, as well as being the perfect backdrop for such an event. Pillar Hall is a classical space with Corinthian pillars and ornate fixtures and fittings, located in central London. The organisers said:
“We’re delighted to be bringing the first London International Antique Doll, Teddy Bear and toy fair to Olympia’s Pillar Hall.”
Collectors of antique toys may choose to display them arranged on antique bedroom furniture, so that they can be appreciated at all times. High end antique bedroom furniture can be discovered at a number of reputable antiques dealers in Blackburn.
The exhibition will take place on 20th November next year, with tickets priced at just £5.
